Furama Resort Danang wins award number six for 2007 |

1. Top Ten Hotels in Vietnam Award (July) was awarded by the Vietnam Tourism Association. This is the sixth year in succession Furama Resort Danang has received a Top Ten Hotels Award in Vietnam. The award aims to identify the best hotels and travel agents in Vietnam in terms of finance, auditing, security, customer service, food safety, staff training and technology. 2. The Guide Award (June) was awarded to Furama Resort by The Vietnam Economic Times. The Guide Magazine noted the excellent performance of Furama Resort Danang, awarding the resort its 7th consecutive Guide Award. The Guide Award, in its 8th year, surveys tourism and hospitality products and services throughout Vietnam. 3. Vietnam the Best Award (May) is the most recent award and was presented by the e-newspaper Vietnamnet in cooperation with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is the first outstanding commercial award by Vietnamnet that aims to promote healthy competition between local and foreign brand names in all sectors, such as tourism, securities and real estate. With 300 companies entered, Furama Resort Danang was the winner of the resort sector. 4. The Century International Quality Era Award (April) recognised companies worldwide that furthered their reputation and position by implementing and promoting quality culture. Criteria marked included demonstrated leadership industry excellence, increased market share and sustainability. As an award-winner, Furama Resort Danang shared the spotlight with Global Fortune 500 companies. 5. Seven Stars and Stripes Award (January) from USA-based Seven Stars and Stripes Inc, recognised Furama Resort Danang as having the best services in Vietnam. Seven Stars and Stripes Inc. is the only global award program dedicated to reviewing the best industry services. 6. 32nd International Awards for the Tourism, Hotel and Catering Industry (January) awarded Furama Resort Danang a trophy to honour the hotels outstanding establishments in the tourism, hotel restaurant and catering fields. The awards are run by the Spanish-based Editorial Office’s Publishing House in collaboration with the Trade Leaders’ Club in Spain. Finalist in the ‘HotelClub’ Hotel Awards. The luxurious Furama Resort Danang was selected as a finalist in the HotelClub Hotel Awards of Asia 2007 on July 26. As a finalist, the resort was selected and recognised as one of the most popular hotels and resorts in the region as voted by the most important of all – The Consumers. Hotels and resorts were short-listed through a consumer survey held from October 2006 to January 2007 by HotelClub and was distributed in association CNN and North West Airlines, the HotelClub received over 80,000 nominations from over 35,000 respondents in over 200 countries.
