Pacific World announces new China appointment

Pacific World is delighted to announce the appointment of Richard Rheindorf as Country Manager for China, based out of its Beijing office, effective from 12 June 2009.

Mr Rheindorf joins Pacific World from the German Convention Bureau in the USA, where he has held the position of Regional Director for the USA and Canada markets, for the past six years.

Mr Rheindorf brings with him 15 years of experience within the tourism, meetings and incentive industry, and holds a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management as well as an MBA. Mr Rheindorf is “excited to pursue this exciting opportunity with such a global leader in the DMC business.”

Pacific World’s Managing Director, Jacques Arnoux, considers the move “an important and very positive step for the progression of Pacific World China and the network. We are proud to have Richard on board and believe he will be an asset to our organisation with his extensive experience and relationships within the industry.”
