Hong Kong - Pacific World
Dinner at a Private
Wine Club
Pacific World Hong Kong can
organise your next group's function at a private and exclusive
Wine Club. The private members clubhouse is located in Shouson
Hill, an exclusive suburb on Hong Kong Island and comprised of
two underground bunkers and a newly constructed conservatory.
The entire site is nestled in a beautiful park-like setting.

storage depot in preparation for World War II. The site was
originally known as the Central Ordinance (Munitions) Depot and
included 24 underground bunkers, of which only eight remain.

colonial-styled glasshouse structure adjacent to the bunkers.
The conservatory venue measures approximately 1500 square feet
and is used primarily as the member's dining area. It is
surrounded by natural foliage, providing a wonderfully
enchanting experience.
Adjoining the conservatory is a tunnel approximately 12 meters
in length that facilitates entry into the Main Reception room.
The room, used as the main dining area, measures 900 square feet
and is located approximately 20 metres underground.

Vietnam - Pacific World
The Great Hanoi Challenge
Looking for a
unique team building exercise in Vietnam? Groups can now
discover the highlights of Hanoi by cyclo, the traditional way
of transporting goods in Hanoi. The challenge can start from
the group's hotel and after boarding the cyclo, delegates
participate in activities planned at
major attractions, local points of interest and markets.
The group is divided into teams before the challenge begins
and each team will be given a different coloured "Hanoi
Challenge" T-shirt and 300,000VND (approximately AUD22) for this activity. Teams will
receive an allocated route, a map,
a
cyclo with driver per person and an English speaking escort.
All cyclos are parked in front of the hotel and when
the challenge begins, each team will ride through the major
sites in Hanoi, passing the Opera House, Hoan Kiem
Lake, Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre and The Old Quarter.
During the ride, each team will be given a clue manual book to
complete questions and will be required to take photos of
certain places or items. There will also be visual questions
that will require team observation skills to get the answers.
Stops will be made at the lake side to participate in
challenges.
A challenge highlight includes a stop in the Old Quarter (the largest and
one of the oldest areas within Hanoi, with 36 narrow shopping
streets). Now for some shopping! Each team will be given a
mission to buy a list of items in the market with the aim to buy
all on time and most importantly, at the lowest cost.
All challenge items are handed in at the finish line and points
will be calculated by the judge who will announce the winning team at the final debrief. This is surely the most exciting
way to see the highlights of Hanoi!
Testimonial from Leah Rigney at Adrenalin
Leah Rigney from Adrenalin in Sydney, recently returned with
an incentive group in Vietnam, operated by Pacific World. The
group had a fabulous time and this is what Leah had to say about
Pacific World's performance:
"Pacific World Vietnam was an extremely approachable and
flexible team to work with. All Pacific World staff were helpful
and well-versed on any questions that were asked of them. The
guides especially did a fantastic job giving their personal
stories/opinions on Vietnamese history, culture and daily way of
life, which really personalised the experience for many people.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for Thuy who approached each
day with a smile and well organised crew".
