WELCOME NOTE |
 |
|
|
 |
Welcome to the first
edition of the DMS e-newsletter for 2007. We had a great start to
the year with our 6th DMS Annual Workshops in Sydney and Melbourne, and
participation in AIME. Our largest number of Destination Management Company
(DMC) business partners from around the world exhibited at the Workshops and
had a great time meeting you all. We would like to thank everyone who attended
and the feedback received confirmed it is one of the best industry events
for networking and destination knowledge updates!
The format of our e-newsletters has changed - they are shorter, will go out
more frequently and each e-newsletter will be region specific and include
news on how our DMCs there can assist you with your next incentive program
or event. This edition will focus on the Asia Pacific region and future editions will
feature Europe, Africa/Middle East and the
Americas.
We are pleased to welcome three new members to our DMC division who will
assist in maintaining the high service levels to our valued clients in
Australia and New Zealand. Working alongside Ronit Shaki and myself are:
* Lise Angus - Business Development Manager
* Brooke Evans - Sales Coordinator
* Tali Small - Client Services Coordinator
Sample itineraries and the DMS website
For inspiration when pitching to new and existing clients, remember to visit the DMS
website for ideas. We have over 90 sample itineraries and a good stock of
images on a variety of destinations, so it is a perfect starting point.
Familiarisations
DMS and Singapore Airlines recently hosted an incentive familiarisation to Spain and
Singapore. Both are brilliant destinations for incentive groups, so please take a
moment to read through our report and contact me if you would like further information.
We hope you enjoy the new format of our e-newsletter and would welcome any
feedback or comments.
Best wishes
