DMS founder and a well respected and renowned industry pioneer with 30 years experience in the tourism industry, Leila offers extensive industry knowledge and is an asset to DMS’ business partners. Leila's commitment to providing the highest quality of service and her ethical approach to business has resulted in a loyal client base and continued business growth. Leila's ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities in the market resulted in the expansion of DMS in 2002 with the inception of Unique Venues - a division of DMS catering to the representation needs of leading hotels, resorts and venues in Australian and globally. Marissa has been with DMS for five years. As the Director of Sales for both the Unique Venues and DMC Divisions, Marissa overlooks the sales and marketing activities of both divisions and promotes DMS’ worldwide portfolio of business partners to the Australian and New Zealand business events market. Marissa has a background in tourism and hospitality spanning over 20 years. She has worked with key players in the tourism and hotel industry, including Tourism Australia and Rydges Hotels and Resorts. In addition, Marissa possesses international work experience with multinational companies. She has a strong event management background with a passion for sales. Minya Simsic is the Sales Executive for the DMS team. Promoting destination management companies located throughout the world through sales focused activities, Minya has established relationships with key contacts in Australia’s business events space. Minya is also responsible for increasing destination awareness through strengthening relationships with tourism bodies, and coordinates familiarisation trips and events on behalf of DMS’ business partners. Minya hold a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from the University of Technology Sydney. Niharika joined the DMS team in March this year after five years experience working in similar roles across a range of different industries – from the food industry to the banking and finance sector. In addition to her administration and accounting tasks, Niharika assists DMS’ international division with ad hoc projects and sales activities. Niharika has completed a Masters of Commerce, specialising in accounting, from Gujarat University in India. |
